OBSERVATIONS
The Route of Great Travel GR-48 in Portugal and crosses all of Andalusia through the Sierra Morena (Portugal-Huelva-Sevilla-Cordoba-Jaén).
It parts of the Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head and runs along the A-6177.
The walkers must cross the large Jandula River that marks the limit of the protected space, through the iron bridge. In the ravine of Valdeinfierno you will find the Stone that Speaks. It offers a message of encouragement for pilgrims and invites you to enjoy the beauties of the mountains. Further on, another important milestone arrives at the Peregrinos Viewpoint, the work of the sculptor Manuel Lopez Perez, which allows us to admire the Sanctuary in the distance.
At the end of the tour in Viñas de Peñallana, it is worth visiting the Visitor Center of the Natural Park, where you can learn more about the fauna, flora and ways of life of this area.
