Route 6 Rumblar-Baños of Encina

Trail 15 El Bronce

LAYOUT Circular
DIFFICULTY Medium

LENGTH 9 km

DURATION 3:00 h

OBSERVATIONS

The place is rich in archaeological sites from the Bronze Age and brings us closer to Del Rumblar Reservoir.

Start this circular path in the Llano del Santo Cristo, on the left rear side of the municipal sports field in Baños de la Encina.
Without getting to step on the road that goes down to the reservoir and after some crossings and passing by a heliport, we arrive next to the area of the beaches of Tamujoso or Rumblar, a place frequented by the locals and where the paved road ends.

On this trail we will discover a fort of control of the territory linked to the mining exploitation of the basin during the Bronze Age (400 years ago). They have been excavated and rehabilitated in such a way that we can know their attributes and function.
