Holy Christ of the Expiration

Work of the image maker Jose Garces (1947) and restored in 2005 by the Sevillian sculptor Dario Fernandez Parra. Processes on the primitive passes of the holder and that of Nuestra Señora de la Amargura, carved in mahogany by Manuel Peral in the years 1948 and 1953, and restored in 1990 and 2007, respectively.

Procession carried by a group of 22 Costaleros Brothers.

Our Lady of Sorrows

Work of the image maker Víctor Gonzalez (1952), restored in 1997, by the sculptor Manuel López Pérez, and, in 2006, by the sculptor Darío Fernández Parra.Procession on goldsmith's pass carried out in the Manuel de los Rios workshops in Seville, with tail lamps from the Orovio de la Torre workshop (Ciudad Real). Embroidery of saya, toque, on mantle and front sash of Rosa Caño Mezquita. Glory in ceiling of pallium with the image of the Virgen de la Cabeza, work of the crazy artist José Ramón Navarro Ruiz.

Procession under canopy, carried by a crew of 35 Costaleros Brothers.

The Nazarenes wear red tunic with black buttons, cape and black cape; in the cape, on the left side, embroidered coat of the Brotherhood (crown of thorns and three intertwined nails); rope of esparto with five knots, representing the five wounds of Christ, white sock and white esparteñas with black strips on the instep.


At 8:00 p.m. from the Chapel El Salvador, attached to the Old Parish Church of St. Bartholomew. It returns to its chapel about 1:00 a.m.
