Andujar Recipes Desserts
Fried doughnuts
Description
Another of the typical desserts in the area. Consumed preferably in Holy Week and Christmas Holidays.
Ingredients
-
6 eggs
-
6 tablespoons anise
-
12 tablespoons smoked olive oil
-
12 tablespoons sugar
-
1 sachet of yeast
-
2 lemon yogurt
-
1 kg of flour
Preparation
The eggs are cracked, separating the whites from the yolks. Beat the egg whites until stiff, mixing the yolks and other ingredients, achieving a soft consistency dough. We spread our hands with a little oil, so that the dough does not stick to us. The dough is separated in the form of balls giving it the form of a thread. They are fried in hot oil and once fried, they are given a quick bath with cinnamon water, sprinkled with sugar and served.
